Dean Weeks

Dean Albert Weeks, age 80, of Hancock, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, January 28, 2020 at his home.

He was born October 17, 1939 in Milwaukee, the son of Raymond and June (Burnett) Weeks. He married Sharon E. (Franzen) McClellan on January 22, 1993 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dean was a 1958 graduate of Riverside High School in Milwaukee. He served his country in Army National Guard. Dean was employed by  Chrysler Corp. for many years. He will be remembered as a hard- working and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather to his family. Dean enjoyed travels to Disney World, Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Beach rentals in Panama, trips to San Antonio, Texas, New Mexico and Canada. Dean loved summers on Fish Lake in Hancock, boating, waterskiing, tubing and bonfires. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon E. Weeks, Hancock; three children, Diane McClellan, Dawn (Tom) Bobb, Robert (Cynthia) Weeks; one stepson, William (Janette) McClellan;  grandchildren, Sara (Don) Gouthro, Alexandra (Tony) Levra, Andrew McClellan, Robert Weeks Jr., Kayla Weeks, Mariah Weeks and Jada Weeks; great grandchildren, Anthony Brooks, Zachary Brooks, Ella Gouthro, Tannar Levra and Roman Levra; a sister-in-law, Heidi Weeks. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Dean is preceded in death by his parents; and by two brothers, Bruce Weeks and Paul Weeks.

Services will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
