Yvonne Evelyn Duncan

Yvonne Evelyn (Hepler) Duncan age 74 of Wautoma passed away peacefully on January 16 , 2026 at her home in Wautoma. She was born on June 5, 1951 to George and Bernice (Hawley) Hepler in Portage, WI. Yvonne married Michael Duncan and they were blessed with 57 years of marriage. She worked for Ryhme Drugstore in Portage for several years and also helped her husband farm on a Pic-tur-esque farm setting in Illinois of which they were very proud of. They later returned to Wisconsin to enjoy retirement. Years spent being a homemaker, gardener and tending to her flowers, she found most peace just sitting on the porch listening to the birds and watching the wild life. We will all remember our "Dear Vonny" as the kind loving and caring person she was.

Yvonne is survived by her husband: Mike; son: David; grandchildren: Logan Duncan, Jesse Motyka; sisters: Judy Manthey, Beverly Barden; brother: Dennis (Sue) Hepler; sisters-in-law: Virginia Sorenson, Mary Macke, Judy Steele; brothers-in-law: Robert, Roger and Dale Duncan; nices, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Lois Woodman, Joanne Wolfe; brothers: George JR, Russell, Tony and John Hepler; father/mother-in-law: Leo and Francis Duncan and brother-in-law: Gary Duncan.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma from 11AM to 1PM.
