William “Bill” J. Lentz, age 70, of Wautoma, died unexpectedly Friday morning, July 15, 2022 at his home.
He was born December 22, 1951 in Oshkosh, the son of Albert G. and Roselie L. (Annie) Lentz. Bill loved being a farmer who truly enjoyed working the land and milking cows. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all, Bill enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his former wife, Becky Perry, Wautoma; four children: Terri Hoople, Wautoma, Billie Lentz, Wautoma, Betty Lentz, Mt. Morris, Bobbie Jo Lentz, Wautoma; five stepchildren: Timothy Bryington, Kentucky, Michael Gryskiewicz, Wautoma, Becky Perry, Wautoma, Lisa Anderson, Iowa, Robert McNulty, Almond; 28 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister: Karen (William “Bill”) Fritz, Columbus; one brother: Dennis Lentz, Tennessee; goddaughter: Erma Chitwood, Beaver Dam; his favorite niece: Jelona Pein, Reeseville. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter: Crystal Bryington; four sisters: Merideth, Henrietta, Phyllis and Sharon; two brothers: Hubert and Michael.
A Celebration of Life will be announced.
