Terry Lee Gehrke

Terry Lee Gehrke age 82 of Wautoma passed away on Tuesday, August 25 2026. He was born in Milwaukee on January 30, 1944 to Max and Lydia (Sheck) Gehrke. On October 24, 1964 he married Barbara Keenlance at Peace Lutheran Church, Wautoma. Terry worked as a Machinist at Rockwell International until his retirement.  He enjoyed hunting in his younger years, fishing and riding his motorcycle. Terry enjoyed the outdoors and his passion for archery led him to help start the Waushara Archers Club in Wautoma. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Terry is survived by his wife: Barbara Gehrke; children: William "Bill" (Gail) Gehrke, Trina (Jeffrey) Wollersheim, Lori (Mike Verbrick) Schaetz; grandchildren: Becky (Tyler), Max, Matt, Zach, Macey, Emma, Troy (Jill), Brooke, Nicole; eight grandchildren; mother-in-law: Blanche Yohn; sister-in-law: Karen Froberg; niece: Mara (Nick) Fornicoia; nephew: Aaron (Starsha) Froberg; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Betty Grable and brother-in-law: John Froberg.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Friday, September 4, 2026 at Peace Lutheran Church, Wautoma with burial in Wautoma Union Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, September 4, 2026 at church from 9:30AM until the time of services at 11AM.
