Shirley Ann (Evans) Turner, age 77 died on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Wild Rose Manor. She was born on January 28, 1938 in Richford to William and Mabel (Schlueter) Evans. Shirley was raised from age 3 on by her older sister Dora Wedde after her mother passed away. On January 26, 1957 she married Eldon Turner in Oshkosh. Shirley was a hardworking devoted wife, mother grandmother and great grandmother. She put her family first in everything she did. Shirley was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading, playing cribbage, embroidery, camping with Margaret and watching the Packers.

Shirley is survived by her children: Sheldon Turner, Trudy (Gail) Mattice, Curtis Turner; grandchildren: Jessica (Shawn) Buchanan, Justin (Megan) Turner, Tyler (Anne) Mattice, Travis Mattice; great grandchildren: Brooke (Brandon Forseth) Behm, Justice and Sky Buchanan, Kypten Turner, Avery and Kinsey Mattice; new great great grandchild: Alice Forseth; her sister and best friend: Margaret Schlagel, sister: Edna Peterson; brother: Herman Raatz; Sister-in-law: Eleanor Raatz, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Eldon Turner; in-laws: George and Claris Turner; sisters and brothers: Ruby Sobereiske, Alice (Ray) Patten, Dora (Harold) Wedde, Harvey (Shirley) Raatz, Carl Raatz, Robert (Mildred) Raatz, Virginia Raatz, Wally Schlagel, William Peterson and Donald Evans.

Funeral service will be held at 11AM on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Hope Lutheran Church, Wautoma with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Monday from 9:30Am until the time of service at 11AM.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Wild Rose Manor staff. You treated mom like family with love and compassion. She truly cared for so many of you... ... Thank you!
