Sharon Marie Jongerius, 82, of Coloma, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on May 21, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 19, 1943, in Canton, South Dakota, to Selmer and Minnie Anderson.
Sharon was known for her kindness, quiet strength, and wonderful sense of humor. She had a way of making others feel welcome, loved, and cared for, and she left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She worked for many years as a lab technician at Frito-Lay and, above all, devoted herself to her family.
She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a cherished friend. Her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by the people she loved most, especially during family gatherings and special moments with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her generous heart, her steady presence, and the laughter she brought to so many lives.
Sharon leaves behind her beloved husband, Lloyd Jongerius; her daughters, Catherine Zuehlke (Darrell), Kristi Dubey (Brian), and Kimberly Jongerius (Jeff); her grandchildren, Nicole Beaver (Mick), Alyssa Butler (Derek), Hailey Dubey, Zach Moran, Andrew Moran, and Colten Gaulke; and her great-grandchildren, Alexandra Beaver, Natalee Jongerius, Adalynn Butler, and Bella Butler. She was preceded in death by her parents, Selmer and Minnie Anderson; her granddaughter, Kristin Saunders; and her siblings.
A celebration of life will be held on July 5th at 4:00 p.m. at The Outpost Ranch, 9331 State Highway 13 S, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Additional details and RSVP information are available here: https://sharonscelebration.rsvpify.com
