Sean Sallee

December 12, 1967 — March 8, 2011

Sean Christian Sallee, 43, currently of Bonifay, FL; previously of Pine River, WI; went home to be with his Father on March 8, 2011. Sean was born on December 12, 1967, in Oshkosh, WI. He graduated from Wild Rose High School and TDI Truck Driving School, Milton, Florida, and became an OTR truck driver. He has been living in the South for the past twenty years.

He was confirmed and accepted into membership at the Poy Sippi Methodist Church. In Bonifay, he was attending the Winterville Assembly of God until the time of his death.

He loved fishing especially with his friends. He liked to play cards and games and won frequently. He had just moved into his home on Cotton Street in Bonifay and talked with his father earlier the night of his death about building a fire pit there and his new cat Amber. Those at the Super Bowl Party a month earlier remembered that he split the logs of the fire there and was excited to introduce his parents to his friends.

He leaves behind his parents: Lorry and Lynn (Kant) Sallee of Neshkoro; a sister Kelly (William) Jahn of Neosho, WI; nieces Kirsten Jahn and Naomi Jahn and nephew Jason Jahn; two grandmothers: Irma Sallee (Faribault, MN) and Ellen Kant (Wautoma); aunts and uncles: Jean Kant, David and Joyce Buresh, Bruce and Liz Sallee; and family friend Joyce Witkowski. His grandfathers Edward Kant and Francis Sallee preceded him in death.

Visitation will be at Poy Sippi United Methodist Church in Poy Sippi on Thursday, March 17 from 5-7 PM and Friday, March 18 the hour preceding the service. Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Friday at the Poy Sippi United Methodist Church with Pastor George Groves presiding.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Sean's name may be given. Sean had Klinefelter's Syndrome, a genetic disorder, all his life and the family will send donations to the KS&A and the Winterville Assembly of God church in Bonifay Florida.

The Leikness Funeral Home of Wautoma is assisting the family with arrangements. www.wautomafuneralhome.com.
