Sandra Lee Mathwig

Sandra Lee (Ramthun) Mathwig, aged 73, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at ThedCare Hospital, Wild Rose after succumbing to a recent illness. She was born April 21, 1949 in Fond du Lac to Arnold and Aretta (Willis) Ramthun. On July 22, 1967 she married Ralph Mathwig at Church of Peace. Sandi and Ralph were residents of Fond du Lac until relocating to Wautoma to a home they built in 1993. Sandi enjoyed going to the casino with her husband, was a big fan of Elvis and had an obsession with cleaning. She will be sorely missed by her FAMILY, BUT will be reunited with her dad whom she loved dearly.

Sandi leaves behind her husband: Ralph Mathwig; daughter: Sheila Dassow; sisters: Sharon (Donald) Lietz, Diane Lennop, Bonnie (Terry) Pierce, Lynn Frank, Jackie Puddy; brother: Alan (Janet) Ramthun; sister-in-law: Joan Thurow; several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Ervin and Lillian Mathwig and brothers-in-law: Donald Lennop, Timothy Puddy, Marvin Thurow.
