Ruth Stelter

Ruth Ann Stelter, age 57, of the Town of Deerfield, rural Hancock, passed away early Monday morning, November 23, 2009 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah.
She was born on October 11, 1952 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Harvey Lemke and Dorothy (Mielke) Weisjohn. She married Milton N. Stelter on September 16, 1972 in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2009.
Ruth Ann was a graduate of Fond du Lac Goodrich High School. For her entire life she was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. For many years, she was a cook at Dafoe Middle School and Wautoma High School. Ruth Ann was a devoted member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Richford where she was the Church Treasurer since the 1980s. She and her husband belonged to the Richford Riders Snowmobile Club. Ruth Ann enjoyed her Precious Moments collection, reading, doing word searches and spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her three daughters, Nancy (Mark) Ostrowski, Oshkosh, Kathryn (Dennis) Bergemann, Richford and Patricia (Randy Schroeder) Stelter, Green Bay; two grandsons, Jack and Robert Bergemann; her sister-in-law, Sara Stelter, Richford; a nephew, Jonathan Stelter; a niece Karin Stelter, other relatives and many friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her step-father Art Weisjohn and her brother-in-law John Stelter.
Funeral Services for Ruth Ann Stelter will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at 1:00pm the Richford Community Center with Pastor Chuck Fluegel officiating. Burial will be in Richford Cemetery, with a time for food and fellowship to follow at the Richford Community Center.
Visitation will be held on Sunday at the Richford Community Center from 11:00am until the time of services.
