Winters would find them at the Valentine Lodge in Kingsland, TX to get away from the snow. Rose best enjoyed making bread and pies for everyone to enjoy. She raised raspberries that delighted her family and friends. After Tom got ill with cancer they found a cute ranch home on Cree Road and moved there in 2007. She enjoyed vegetable gardening, playing cards, entertaining, reading, and exercise classes at The Club in Wautoma. Rose was an active faithful member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Redgranite where she was a member of the Ladies Sodality (CCW).
