Rose Ann “Rose” Lea Seavecki, age 60, of Wautoma, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at her home.
Rose was born to Earl and Carol Peterson in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her family later moved to Waupaca, Wisconsin, and eventually, Rose made Wautoma her cherished home.
She was deeply joyful upon the birth of her son, Timothy. Together, they shared many treasured moments, enjoying joy rides and spending quality time outdoors.
Rose held a special place in her heart for her niece, Jessica, whom she loved dearly and treated with the affection of a devoted mother.
Later in life, Rose found the love of her life in Randy Zettelmeier. Her face would light up whenever she spoke of Randy, with whom she embraced life fully. Her family is profoundly grateful that she experienced such happiness and companionship.
Rose’s career included positions at Rusty's and Grimms, and later she became an integral part of the Moose Inn, which she considered her second home. From her early days working alongside Ed to forming bonds with many who became like her children, the Moose Inn family was very dear to her.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Timothy and his sons, Phoenix and Zealand; her beloved partner Randy Zettelmeier; her sister Andrea (Harlan) Jensen; niece Jessica (Jason) Lancour and their children Kaleb, Makayla, Noah, and Jaylynn; nephews CJ (Kayla) Jensen and their daughters Ellia and Reign; Ryan (Chelsea) Jensen and their sons Braylon and James; as well as many other nieces, nephews, and her extended Moose Inn family.
A funeral service to honor Rose’s life will be held at Leikness Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM, with burial following at Pine River Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM.
Rose’s warmth, love, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
