Ronald Seaver

April 16, 1937 — October 24, 2010

Ronald E. Seaver, age 73, formerly of Neshkoro, passed away Sunday morning October 24, 2010 at Wild Rose Hospital.

He was born April 16, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Elmer C. and Ethel M. (Paquin) Seaver. He married his high school sweetheart, Millie Hoy on November 21, 1956 in Decatur, Illinois at Central Christian Church.

Ron was a graduate of Decatur High School in 1954 and played the saxophone and clarinet in the high school band. Ron later graduated from Miliken University in Decatur, IL with a degree in Accounting and Economics. While in college he played in the Municipal Band and a dance band. Ron also served his country in the United States Army and Reserves. He later became an Underwriter for Kemper Insurance in Chicago and then a Risk Management Consultant for Corporate Policyholder Council, Inc and later a partner for the company in Chicago.

Ron and his wife resided in Libertyville, IL for many years and later moved to Neshkoro. He operated Seaver, Rudolph and Associates in Neshkoro for a number of years. An avid supporter of local businesses, Ron was very active and reached out to many in his community through the Wautoma Rotary, which he was President 2003-2004. He received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award for his outstanding service in the community. Ron also helped his wife on the Neshkoro Enhancement Committee and was the president of the Waushara Industries Board of Directors. He also received recognition from the Neshkoro Fire Department for pursuing the purchase of imaging helmets for the fire department.

Ron enjoyed boating, spending time with his family, fishing, snowmobiling and was active in the Mid State Snowdrifters Snowmobile Club. He also wrote for the Waushara Argus. Ron will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him

He is survived by his wife, Millie Seaver of Wautoma, one daughter Laura (Schuyler) Wemmer of Shawano and two grandsons, Austin Ronald and Dylan Philip Wemmer, of Shawano. He is further survived by many close friends.

A Memorial Service for Ronald E. Seaver will be held on Monday, November 1, 2010 at 12:00 noon in Hope Lutheran Church, Wautoma with Rev. Nathan A. Gauerke officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the Church. .

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established and will go towards various charities and causes of the family's choice.
