Roberta M. (Bradley) Lowther died peacefully on June 7, 2022 at Silver Lake Manor in Wautoma. Roberta (Berta) was born at home on August 22, 1938 in Redgranite to Cecil and Grace (Fairchild) Bradley. She graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1957. She married Robert (Farry) Lowther on July 20, 1957 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. She worked at Carolina Soap & Candle Makers for many years before owning her own cleaning business. After the death of her husband, Bob, on November 6, 1990, she moved to Arizona where she resided for 2 decades. She also lived in Alabama and Florida before returning home to Wisconsin.
Our mom loved horses and owned a few of them through the years. As a young girl, summers were spent in Wild Rose on her Aunt Rena’s farm. She and her sister, Ramona, took care of the horses and led trail rides at the various camps in the Wild Rose area. As an adult she rode whenever she could and rode in parades on Penny whenever the opportunity arose. She loved ice cream and was in heaven when she toured an ice cream factory. Mom was a sharp cribbage player and a great bowler having been on leagues for both. Mom loved her children, grandchildren, and great grands. She was very proud of each and every one of them.
Roberta is survived by her children: Dee Dee Jakubowski, of Wautoma, Doug Lowther, of Berlin, and Deb (Ron) Grafe of Cottonwood AZ; two sisters: Ruth Rescheske, of Oshkosh and Ramona Thomas, of Wild Rose; sister-in-law: Darlene Mathews of Tucson AZ; brother-in law: Tom (Pat) Lowther of Oshkosh; eight grandchildren: Jackie, Austin and Michelle Jakubowski, Amanda Lowther, Christy and Corey Kain, Aaron and Andrew Grafe; 10 great grandchildren: Kinsey, Daxon and Eben Jakubowski, Kaylee Roehling, Elvis Grafe, Whitnie and Elijah Kain, Austin, Hayden and Aubrey Kain and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Bob; her parents; brothers: Robert, Russell, Richard, Raymond, Ronald Bradley; sisters: Rose Monroe, Rita Rae Bradley; granddaughter: Jessica Rynearson; sister-in-law Barbara Bowe and daughters-in-law: Linda Lowther and Mellia Schneider.
