Robert Dale Goble, age 80 of Wautoma, died on Friday, July 4, 2014 at Wild Rose Hospital. He was born on January 7, 1934 in Wadena, MN, the son of Vernon and Eva (Squire) Goble. He served in the US Army for 3 years and was honorably discharged in 1955. On October 8, 1965 he married Judith M. Bredeson in Zion, IL. Robert worked at J.I. Case for 30 years and then retired. He also worked as an auto mechanic and a professional painter. Robert loved all his family dearly. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, gardening and fishing.
Robert is survived by his wife: Judith Goble, Wautoma; children: Rose Marie, Rosa Lee, Raymond, Rhonda, Mike, Barb, Marion, James and there loving families; sister: Violet Moench; two brothers: Gene (Marie) Goble, Nathaniel Goble; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 12 (NOON) on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Al Spitler. Burial will take place at Wisconsin Veteran's Cemetery, King on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 9:30AM with Military Honors accorded by the U.S. Army Honors Team. The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Leikness Funeral Home from 10AM until the time of service at 12 (NOON).
