Richard Stankiewicz, age 69, died Thursday afternoon, January 21, 2010.
He was born December 30, 1940 in Milwaukee the son of Stanley and Isabelle (Golomski) Stankiewicz. He married Joyce C. Kausch on May 5, 1962 in Milwaukee.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joyce (nee Kausch) Stankiewicz; two daughters, Lynn (Kenneth) Vaughn, Christine (Patrick) Cauwels; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Cauwels, Christopher Cauwels, Matthew Cauwels and Benjamin Vaughn.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judith (Ronald) Kelly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Plainfield. A parish rosary and Knights of Columbus service will be held at 10:30 a.m. with the funeral mass to follow. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services.
