Ralph Franklin Gunther Jr. age 62, of Wautoma, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020 at his home.
He was born May 23, 1958 in LaGrange, Illinois, the son of Ralph F. Gunther Sr. and Elizabeth (Meschi) Gunther. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Ralph married LaVergne Marie Burdick on April 2, 1982 in Oshkosh.
Ralph and his wife moved to rural Wautoma in 1980 from Downers Grove, Illinois. He was employed as terminal manager/ driver for ASA Freight of Oshkosh. Ralph also was chef at the former Alaskan Supper Club in Redgranite. Ralph loved being with his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed cooking, hunting and fishing. He will be always remembered as a very social person who loved talking with people and sharing a good story.
He is survived by his loving wife, LaVergne Gunther, Wautoma,; four children, Frank (Lyla) Gunther, Redgranite, Grace (Daniel) Bustle, Wausau, Jenny Gunther (Dustin Wickman), Redgranite and April (Randy) Roxbury, Wautoma; 16 grandchildren, Kyah, Masen, Madisyn, Kimberly, Kaitlyn, Joseph, Arriana, Kourtney, Briahnna, Charlotte, Cynthia, Hannah, Brody, Claire, Alyssa and Logan; one brother, Greg Gunther, Oshkosh. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents.
