Mildred Groskreutz

Mildred L. Groskreutz age 87, of Wautoma, died Thursday morning, June 24, 2010 at Silver Lake Manor in Wautoma.
She was born February 13, 1923 in the town of Shield, Marquette County, the daughter of Albert A. and Mina H. (Buchholz) Knaack. She married Mabert M. Groskreutz on November 28, 1964 in Princeton. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2005.
Mrs. Groskreutz was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wautoma. Mildred worked at the American Baptist Assembly for 22 years and retired after her marriage to Mabert.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Nancy (Jerry) DeBruin, Linda Zimmerman, Kathy (Vernon) Krause, Karl (Mary) Knaack, Kenneth (Tracy) Knaack, Gail (Tom) Trochinski, Kurt Knaack, Karen (special friend, Tim) Hesbrich, Lola (Dale) Zaug, Anita (Ron) Kautella, Dennis (Carolyn) Knaack; two sisters-in-law, Sadie Knaack and Margaret Ceman; further survived by several great and great-great nieces and nephews and one great-great-great nephew, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Wilbur Knaack and Karl Knaack.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Wautoma with the Rev. Gregory D. Hyatt officiating. Burial will be in the Wautoma Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. Friday until the time of services at the church.
