Michael John Weiss

Michael John Weiss age 67 of Wautoma passed away at home on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Michael was born in Berlin, WI to Henry and Nancy (Haertlein) Weiss on March 9, 1956. He graduated from Wautoma High School in 1974. He enlisted in the Navy upon graduation spending 20 years, retiring at the rank of Chief Petty Officer in 1994. Michael married Sharon Garthwaite on June 12, 1982.

Michael is survived by his wife of 41 years, children; Melissa (Shane) Kozlowski and Benjamin (Melissa) Weiss. 7 grandchildren and step-grandchildren; Joshua Weiss, Gabriel Weiss and Elizabeth Weiss, Ethan Kozlowski, Tyler Kozlowski, Casandra Kozlowski and Lillian Kozlowski-Reeves. He is further survived by brothers and sisters; Charles (Barb) Weiss, Donald (Mary) Weiss, Donna (Joe) Watts, Steve (Becky) Weiss and Katie Norman. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins. Michael was preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Nancy Weiss; infant granddaughter:  Ann Weiss and sister-in-law: Wendy Scheelk.
