Michael "Mike" Edward Mankowski

Michael “Mike” Edward Mankowski, age 65 of Wautoma passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at his home. He was born on August 16, 1960, the son of Gerald and Nancy (Meyer) Mankowski. Mike is survived by his mother: Nancy; his son: Mark (Jessica) Mankowski; daughter: Jennifer “Ruggee” (Mike) Vranesh Henke; three grandchildren: Christapher, November, and Addison from Pine River; three sisters: Theresa (Ronald) Johnston, Kathy (Joel) Brophy, Melissa (Greg) Prochnow, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Gerald Mankowski.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing Mike is at peace. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. May his corn grow tall, his hay stay dry, and pipes ring loud.

Mike’s family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma from 9AM to 11AM. A prayer service will conclude the visitation at 11AM.
