Mary Catherine Szydel

Mary Catherine Szydel age 92 of Neshkoro passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at her home. She was born on June 24, 1933 in Stratford, WI to Peter and Catherine (Hein) Meyer. On July 11, 1959 she married James Szydel in Milwaukee. 

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 67 years: James Szydel; daughter, Linda (Daniel) Bayer; daughter-in-law, Kristy Szydel; grandchildren: Steven Bayer, Alyssa (Robert) Effinger, Berea, Achaia, Cana, Alaiah and Havilah Szydel; two sisters, Pat Folz and Rita (Maynard) Erdmann. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, James Szydel; and by six brothers and four sisters.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
