Mary Ann Lewis

Mary Ann Lewis, age 85, of Wautoma, Passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at her home.

She was born July 20, 1938 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of   Richard and Thelma (Porter) Patterson.

Mary loved being with her family. She enjoyed puzzles, all kinds of crafting, reading, and rummage sales. She will be deeply missed by her loving family.

She is survived by her best friend and former husband, John Lewis, Wautoma; three children, Patti Lewis, Deborah Lewis (John Stoffregen), and John (Linda) Lewis II, all of Wautoma; grandchildren: Dennis Bertzyk (Kim), Curtis (Theresa) Raatz, Brandon (fiancé, Candi) Raatz, Duane Buschke Jr., David Stoffregen (Samantha), Christopher (Jennifer) Stoffregen, Jeremiah Lewis, Amanda May Lewis (Justin), John (Jensen) Lewis, Desiree Lewis, Amanda Marie, Jeffery and Kassandra; great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Adrian, Gavin, Liara, Ulrich, Visara, Justin, Ethan, Paige, Darren, Kayden, John, Kendall, Caleb, Kendrick, Mike and Summer; one sister, Lucille (Mike) Cross, Thornton, Colorado. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharalyn Lewis; her parents, Richard and Thelma (Porter) Patterson; and by her sister, Margaret Shay.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

The family wishes to thank Mary’s Doctor’s, Nurses, the Hospice Team and her special caregivers Vicky and Charlotte for their loving and compassionate care.
