It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Lou Albert, who died peacefully in her sleep on June 19th, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on February 1st, 1948, in Wausau, Wisconsin, Mary brought joy and kindness to all who knew her throughout her life.
Mary's journey began in Wausau, where she was raised in a loving family. She went on to explore various career paths, leaving an indelible mark as a seamstress for 45 years and a hairdresser for 30 years. Her artistic spirit shone brightly, especially when she attended Mount Mary College, where she earned her degree in Design and Pattern Making. Whether she was crafting a new outfit or styling someone's hair, Mary approached every task with passion and creativity.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Mary was also known for her nurturing heart. She had an unwavering willingness to help her family, always putting their needs above her own. Her garden was a cherished haven, where she found solace and joy in nurturing vibrant blooms that reflected her colorful spirit.
Mary's military service as a Marine, though brief, demonstrated her courage and dedication. She carried the values from that time into her everyday life, embodying strength and resilience.
She is survived by her beloved children, grandchildren, and siblings, who will carry on her legacy of love and kindness. Mary is predeceased by her mother, Evelyn Schuster; her father, Victor Schuster; her brother, Jim Schuster; her sister, Bette Gajewski; her son, Peter Jon Albert; her grandson, Jeremy Brandt, and her former spouse, Peter H.
