Marion Souzek

Marion D. Souzek, age 89, passed away peacefully at her home on April 2, 2015. She was born on September 22, 1925 in Dakota Township, daughter of Leonard and Ruth Rohde. On June 5, 1943 she married Emil H. Souzek in Neshkoro. In her younger years, Marion helped neighboring farmers and did some cleaning outside the home. Marion enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing, taking rides and enjoying the sites with her late husband Emil and going to auctions. She was a wonderful mother to four sons. Marion would love to plant flowers in May and watch the birds. She enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marion was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wautoma.



Marion is survived by her four sons: Ervin (Cathy Atkinson) Souzek, Marlin (Delia Kroeze) Souzek, Ronald Souzek, Roger (Karla) Souzek, all of Wautoma; grandchildren: Kevin (Becky) Urban, Crystal Souzek, Connie (Roger) Quint, Lincoln (Dinka) Souzek, Phillip (Julie) Souzek; great grandchildren: Kendra, Bryce and Tyler Urban, Matthew and Dawson Quint, Veronika, Ivan, Nikola, Damian and Kate Souzek; sister: Dolores Dickerson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband: Emil Souzek in 1995.



Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wautoma with Rev. Brian Rohde officiating. Burial will follow in the North Dakota Cemetery, town of Dakota. The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday at church from 10AM until the time of services at 11AM.



In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated in Marion's name.
