Hancock

Lyle Thomas Zlensky, 71, of Hancock, WI, passed away on November 28, 2025.He was born on January 19, 1954, in West Allis, WI, to John and Elaine (Petrovic) Zlensky.

A 1972 graduate of Whitnall High School, Lyle mainly worked as a warehouse supervisor , but he was best known as a passionate purveyor of antiques. He sold at flea markets throughout the area and proudly opened Hancock Antiques in 2003. Lyle had a lifelong love of woodworking—refinishing and building furniture and creative projects.

Lyle enjoyed football, NASCAR, shooting pool, classic cars, and classic rock. He cherished family trips up north, where many hours were spent playing Yahtzee or relaxing on a “geezba”—just one of his many memorable “Lyle-isms.”

Lyle is survived by his daughters, Amy (Jeff) Gruennert and Jill (Josh) Burby; his grandchildren, Kylie, Cameron, Marin, and Abraham; and his sisters Jeanne, Charlene, and Nancy; and additional family and friends.
