Karleen Meyer

Karleen D. Meyer, age 69, of Wautoma, passed away Friday morning Oct. 21, 2016 at Theda Care-Berlin Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 5, 1947 in Wild Rose, the daughter of Henry and Bonnie (Reas) Lehman. She married Delmar A. Meyer on Aug. 3, 1968 at Peace Lutheran Church in Wautoma.

Karleen was a 1965 graduate of Wild Rose High School. She was employed as a cook and waitress at Kountry Kourt Restaurant and The Radio Station Restaurant both in Wautoma. Karleen also provided catering at the French Camp, rural Hancock. She loved cooking, baking, gardening, and solving puzzles. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Wautoma.

She is survived by her husband, Delmar A. Meyer, Wautoma; three sons, Micheal (Christine) Meyer, Wautoma, Corey Meyer, Oshkosh, and Chad Meyer Sr., Wild Rose; grandchildren, Justin Meyer, Brandin (Ashley) Meyer, Jimmy Morris, Cassi Morris, Jordan Morris, Jonathan Meyer,
Alexandria Meyer, and Chad Meyer Jr.; great grandchildren, Chase, Samantha, Mason, Skylar, Maliah, Faith, Xavier, and Hunter; one brother, David (Nora) Lehman, Wild Rose. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by; one daughter, Tammie; one son, Todd; her parents; and by her brother, Bruce Lehman.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Wautoma with Rev. Roger G. Riedel officiating. Burial will be in Richford Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday at the Church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
