Josephine A. “Jo” Wienckowski, age 84, of Wautoma, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, April 10, 2026.

She was born January 11, 1942 in Armstrong Creek, Forest County, Wisconsin, the daughter of John W. and Anna E. (Jocker) Wywialowski.

She was employed in the office at Skel Gas in Redgranite before becoming the Administrative Assistant at the USDA Farm Service Agency in Wautoma. Jo loved gardening and was very active with Waushara Gardeners maintaining local public gardens. She also was a great cook and like to go fishing.

She is survived by three sons, Kurt Wienckowski (Angela Eder), Princeton, Dennis Wienckowski, Black Canyon City, Arizona and Mark Wienckowski, Wautoma; five sisters: Helen Moller, Frances Kubick, Louise Kovars, Arlene Jaworski, JoAnne Fladung; one brother, Frank Wywialowski.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters: Mary Mills, Elizabeth Wywialowski, Clara Wywialowski, Alice Waywialowski; six brothers: Peter Wywialowski, Stanley Wywialowski, Joseph Wynn, Michael Wywial, Paul Wywialowski and Chet Wywialowski.

Per Jo’s wishes, private family services will be held.
