Josephine Houk

Josephine M. Houk, age 58, of Hancock, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at her home.

She was born September 6, 1958 in Waukesha, the daughter of Pedro and Bonnie (Martinez) Garcia. She married Rodney D. Houk on January 1, 2000 in East Troy, WI.

Josephine resided in Waukesha and later in Mukwonago before moving to Hancock in 2005. She enjoyed collecting dolls and adding to her collection of knickknacks. Josie also enjoyed four wheeling and spending time with her family. She was the “life of the party” and was always right, and when she was wrong, she was still right nonetheless. Josie was a loving wife, mom, grandmother and friend who will be missed by many.

Josephine and survived by her husband, Rodney D. Houk, Hancock; her parents, Pedro and Bonnie Garcia, Waukesha; her children, Michael Hall, Shawano, Josh Houk, Sussex, Crystal Hall, Hancock, Jarred Hall, Hancock, Shane (Misty) Houk, Redgranite, Travis (Bambi) Houk, Wisconsin Rapids; 18 grandchildren; one sister, Patricia (Bob) Bodanski, Wind Lake; five brothers, Ray (Karen) Martinez, North Carolina, Bobby (Kristina) Garcia, Minocqua, Pete (Theresa) Garcia Jr., Johnson Creek, Tommy Garcia, Waukesha, Rudy (Casey) Garcia, West Allis. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Private family services will be held.
