Joseph Arens

June 14, 1943 — January 10, 2016

Joseph John Arens, 72, of Muskego and Wautoma, WI, died suddenly Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, at his cottage in Wautoma.
He was the precious husband for 49 years of Janet (Hriszko) Arens; loving father to Julie Davison of Apple Valley, MN., Pamela (Paul) Ethington of Ripon, WI, and Dr. Matthew (Jacquelyn) Arens of Waukesha WI; wonderful grandfather to Alison and Joshua Davison, James and PJ Ethington; and Caiden and Jakohbi Arens. He is further survived by a sister, Dorothy Gomoll of Barrington, IL; brother-in-law, Robert (Colleen) Hriszko; and many nieces, nephews and cousins he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Anna Arens; a brother, Kenneth "Mike" Arens; and father- and mother-in-law, William and Julia Hriszko.
Joseph shared his love of hunting and fishing with many as a mentor and companion and was the "rock" many people depended on. He will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12PM on Friday, January 15, 2016 at St. Claire's Catholic Church, 7616 Fritz St., Wind Lake, WI with a luncheon to follow. The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday at church from 11AM until the time of Mass at 12PM.
