John R. Peissig, age 71, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Wautoma. He was born on March 28, 1943 in Milwaukee. John taught in the Elmbrook School District for 32 years and strived to always learn more to share with and to help people. He was much loved and appreciated and will be sorely missed.
John was the most precious husband of Dorothy (Kozlowski) Peissig. He is survived by his brothers: Jerry (Sue) Peissig, Jim (Karen Peissig); sisters-in-law: Marcia (Wayne) Bartz, Rosalie Kiedrowski and brother-in-law: Dan (Liz) Dylak. John is further survived by very special, loving and caring nieces, nephews and many wonderful treasured friends.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30PM on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, 11300 N. St. James Ln (2700 W. Mequon Rd) Mequon, WI 53092. The family will greet relatives and friends at church from 1PM until the time of Mass at 2:30PM. Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma and Schramka Funeral Home, Thiensville is assisting the family with arrangements.
