Jodie Jean Smith Haselwood, age 58, of Montello, died unexpectedly on January 11, 2017, at UW Hospital in Madison following surgery. She was born in Rockford, IL on October 14, 1958 to Sammie J. and Nancy J. (Lanning) Smith Sr. On September 27, 2012 she married David J. Haselwood in Rockford, IL. The couple had been together since 2002. Jodie loved gardening and had a passion for animals. She enjoyed watching all the different animals come to the feeders at her home. Jodie will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Haselwood; step daughters: Jennifer (Steve), Kayla (Phil), Natalie; step grandchildren: Alyssa, Katelyn, Josh, Cayden, Landon; her beagles: Branday and Red; mother: Nancy Smith; brother: Sammie (Joann) Smith Jr.; nephew: Wray (Patricia) Smith; nieces and nephews: Stephanie, Rachel, Daniel, Justin, Evelyn, Casey, Jake; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father:
