Jeanette D. Schrader, age 82, of Redgranite, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Theda Care Regional Medical Center in Appleton.
She was born April 20, 1943, the daughter of Virginia (Herring) Roben. She married Karl E. Schrader on June 17, 1961 in Mukwonago. He preceded her in death on June 22, 2022.
Jeanette worked in the family business, Elmer’s Place in Redgranite for many years. She loved the outdoors and traveling to the family’s cottage in Eagle River where she enjoyed camping and boating. Most of all, Jeanette loved being with her family, especially her grand- children and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her loving family.
She is survived by three children: Debbie Miller, Coloma, Terri (Randy) Roberts, Redgranite, Jerry (Cerry) Schrader, Spring Lake; six grandchildren: Jason (Lexie) Miller, Brian (Bethany) Miller, David (Sadie) Auck, Michelle (Jason) Siebert, Kenneth (Courtney) Gustin and Kimberlee Gustin; 13 great grandchildren: Braeley, Lilly, Grady, Greta, Waylon, Annika, Chloe, Gabriel, Miranda, Oliver, Roxas, Georgie and Mason; her brother, Arne Solberg Jr., Japan. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents; her son-in-law, Paul Miller; sister-in-law, Eiko Solberg; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert (Virginia) Thornton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Foster Road Cemetery in Redgranite.
The family wishes to thank Jeanette’s dear friend and caregiver, Neville Harris along with the staff of Theda Care Regional Medical Center in Appleton for their compassionate care.
