Janet "Jan" H. Bagley

Janet “Jan” H. Bagley, age 79, formerly of Coloma, passed away Monday, August 10, 2026 at her granddaughter’s home in Neenah.

She was born April 23, 1947 in Rhinelander, the daughter of Frantz R. and Evelyn H. (Tegan) Heise. She married Donald H. Bagley on December 4, 1965 in Waukon, Iowa. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2018.

Jan was a 1965 graduate of Wautoma High School. She was employed by the Waushara County Sheriff’s Department as Jailer/Dispatcher for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by three children, Teri Bagley (Franz Uttendorfer), La Porte, Texas, Todd Bagley, Florida and Tom (Melissa) Bagley, Oxford; 10 grandchildren: Mark (Hannah), Brittany, Erin (Derek), Miranda (Zack), Sarah (Seth), Raquel, T.J. (Alyssa), Allie (Sam), Myriah (Justyn) and Kayli; Five siblings, Shirley (Jack), Jim (Carol), Barb, Gary (Lynn), Bruce (Mary). She is further by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mary; one brother, Richard; and by her parents-in-law, Howard & Wilma Bagley and Frank Cavanaugh.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. followed by funeral services at 12 noon at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Coloma. The Rev. Niveen Sirras of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Neenah will be officiating. Jan will be laid to rest next to her husband Don at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Coloma.
