James R. Hackbart, age 63, of Coloma, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.
He was born January 30, 1963 in Wild Rose, the son of Raymond and LuAnn (Wright) Hackbart. He married Tammy Dagner on May 7, 1994 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Montello.
Jim was a 1981 graduate of Westfield High School. He started working at Brakebush Brothers in Westfield in 1985, working his way up to Production Supervisor with over 40 years of service. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, sports, coin collecting and cooking. Most of all, Jim loved attending family sporting events with his wife for his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Hackbart; three children, JJ (Jessica) Baier, Hunter Hackbart and Shianne (Pedro) Franco; two grandchildren, Kennedi and Jax; two brothers, Michael Hackbart and Rodney (Lisa) Hackbart; two sisters-in-law, Robin (James) York, Cindy (Tom) Bloom. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Coloma with Rev. Blaine Niskanen officiating.
