May 13, 1933 — March 2, 2023

Wild Rose

Jacqueline M. Gibson (nee Gutschow), age 89, of Wild Rose, passed away peacefully, March 2, 2023.

She was born May 13, 1933 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Lester and Alice (Pacala) Gutschow. She married John R. Gibson in 1951, in Milwaukee, where they lived and raised their family. They shared 63 years together. In 1993 they began the next chapter of their lives, moving to Wild Rose. She was a member of Waushara Community Church and her Christian faith was an essential part of her life. She was involved with the Wautoma Senior Center where she enjoyed bingo and playing cards with her many friends. She also enjoyed planning and cooking for large groups and parties.

She was devoted to her family and was an extremely caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She always cared for those around her and demonstrated her love by sacrificing her time and resources.

Jackie is survived by her children, Judy (Fred) Knapp, Jim Gibson and Jill Gibson; one sister, Nancy Little; seven grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Gibson; her brother, Donald Gutschow; her granddaughter, Becki Knapp; and great grandson, Noah Patterson.

While she will be forever missed, we find peace knowing she is in heaven with her Lord and Savior.

In lieu of a funeral, a Celebration of Life will be planned in May.
