John “Jack” Lee Greenwood III age 64 of Arbor Vitae, WI passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Marshfield Medical Center. He was born in Berwyn, IL on August 1, 1962 to John “Jack” Lee Greenwood Jr. and Carol Ann (Cheleski) Greenwood. After high school, Jack joined the United States Marine Corp and was honorably discharged after 13 years of service. On September 30, 2025 he married Tracy Bednarski in Plainfield. Jack was an avid stock car driver and had raced for almost 50 years. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Jack is survived by his wife: Tracy Bednarski; father: John “Jack” Greenwood Jr.; sister: Lorian (Dean) Hovit; brother-in-law: Phil Bocinsky; niece: Autumn; nephew: PJ; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother: Carol Greenwood and a sister: Kim Bocinsky.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at the Wautoma World War II Memorial Building, 440 W. Main St., Wautoma with Military Honors to follow. The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday August 29th from 11AM until the time of services at 1PM.
