Helen Hansel

Helen J. Hansel, age 91, of Wautoma passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015 at Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital. She was born July 14, 1923 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Sebastian and Magdalena (Drozdowicz) Bilinski. She married Lloyd G. Hansel on Oct. 23, 1948 in Chicago. He preceded her in death on June 25, 1999.
Helen was employed in the office at Spiegel Catalogue in Chicago for a number of years. Later, when they moved to rural Wautoma she worked for Dr. Darby in Wautoma for many years. She is survived by one brother, Raymond (Casimira) Bilinski, Calumet City, IL; a niece, Anne Marie (Patrick) Lucchhetti and their children, Glacia Rose and Grant all of Plainfield, IL; a nephew, Dennis (Susan) Bilinski, Antioch, IL. She is further survived by other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and by one brother, Stanley Bilinski. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma with Rev. David Greskowiak of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma officiating. Burial will be in West Holden Lutheran Cemetery, Township of Wautoma.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
