Helen Cieslik, age 94, of Mount Morris passed away Tuesday morning, Feb. 14, 2017 at Rosemore Village in Wild Rose.
She was born Feb. 8, 1923 in Poland. She married Walter Cieslik in May of 1945 in Germany. He preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 2008.
Helen and her late husband resided in Chicago for many years prior to moving to the town of Mount Morris in the 1980's. She worked as an assembler at Stewart & Warner Co. and later at Zenith Corp., both in Chicago. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma.
She is survived by one son, Henry (Christine) Cieslik, Wautoma; one daughter, Diane (Tom) Johnson, Chicago, IL; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert) Welker, Lenexa, KS, Steven (Megan) Cieslik, Wautoma, Kristopher Cieslik, Fargo, ND, Katie (fiancé Ryan) Johnson, Chicago, IL, Nicole Johnson, Indiana; five great grandchildren, Blake, Ethan, Olivia, Delilah, and Archer. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, John Cieslik; one brother and one sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Feb.25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma with Rev. David Greskowiak officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on at the Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
