Guido Thomsen

Guido Peter Thomsen, age 77, of Wautoma, passed away peacefully Monday, February 22, 2016 with his friend by his side at Theda-Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
He was born Feb. 9, 1939 in Chicago, IL, the son of Peter and Katie (Knaack) Thomsen.
Guido graduated from North High School in Chicago in 1957. He then attended Wright Junior College in Chicago. Guido moved with his parents to Wautoma in 1974. He worked at the former D&B Grocery Store in Wild Rose and then at Copps IGA Store in Wautoma.
He is survived by numerous friends. His parents preceded him in death.
Per Guido's wishes, there will be no services. He will be laid to rest next to his parents at Wautoma Union Cemetery.
Guido wished to thank the staff of Wild Rose Manor, Wild Rose Hospital, Theda-Clark Medical Center, and Waushara County EMS for their compassionate care. He also deeply appreciated his many dear friends.
