Gordon Edward Mason

Gordon Edward Mason age 89 of Neshkoro passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on January 23, 1936 in West Allis to Cecil and Elise (Isley) Mason. He graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1954 and then married Janice Rae Reschke on November 19, 1955 at Greenfield Park Lutheran Church in West Allis. Gordy worked as a manager for Wisconsin Gas & Electric which prompted the couple to move to Hidden Springs Lake in Neshkoro in 1992.  Gordy retired in 1998 and enjoyed spending much of his time with Jan, sitting on the screened-in porch at home, looking out at the lake, drinking a glass of wine.  Gordy was an avid golfer, spending much of his time at the Waushara Country Club.  He also enjoyed deer hunting and fishing with friends and family.  Gordy especially liked his fishing trips to Canada.

Gordy is survived by his children: Brian (Tami) Mason, Dawn (Mike) Goetsch, Diane Mason; grandchildren: David (Kallyn) Mason, Amanda (Tyler) Bradley, Danielle (Eric) Weisenberger, Tyler Goetsch; great grandchildren: Travis, Conner, Palmer, Garrett, Gracie Jo, Ozric, Josslyn; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife; Jan, his son; Bruce, his parents and all of his siblings.

Services will be held on Monday, August 18th starting at 1:00 with service at 2:00 and internment at 3:00pm, at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield where Gordy and Jan will be laid to rest together.  A dinner will be held at Aliotos after.  All are welcome.
