Geraldine "Geri" Dobs

Geraldine “Geri” Dobs, age 79, of Wautoma, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 at her home following a brief bout with cancer.

She was born Nov. 4, 1937 in South Milwaukee, the daughter of Charles and Irene (Udvare) Hull. She married Robert Dobs on Sept. 8, 1956 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Milwaukee.

Geri was a 1956 graduate of Bay View High School. She and her husband resided in Milwaukee for many years before moving to Lake Alpine, rural Wautoma in 1989. She was an avid watercolor painter and very involved in the Waushara Rural Rembrandts Art Club and Garden Club. Geri was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert Dobs, Wautoma; her children, Lisa (Barry) Lien, Jefferson, Michael (Christine) Dobs, Fayetteville, NC, Timothy (Amy) Dobs, Granbury, TX and Christopher (Damingo) Dobs, Milwaukee; grandchildren, Meagan (Joshua) Lecus, Kristen (David) Sessoms, Michael Dobs Jr., Tiara Dobs and Tegan Dobs; great grandchildren, Brett, Michael, Jaxon, Connor and Hunter. She is further survived by other family and dear friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma with the Rev. David Greskowiak officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Wautoma.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
