Gary W. Grendson

Gary W. Grendson, age 67 of Wautoma passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026 at LEF Group Home, Wautoma. He was born December 19, 1958 to William and Belva (Ames) Grendson. Gary was a part of the graduating class at Wautoma High School Class of 1977. Following high school Gary briefly worked at the Berlin Foundry. He earned most of his work experience at Waushara Industries in Wautoma and Fox River Industries in Berlin. Gary moved to LEF Townline Road in Wautoma in 1993. He resided at Townline Road at the time of his death on July 10, 2026.

Gary loved music, with country and Bluegrass as favorites. He enjoyed trips to Branson and the Bluegrass Festival to witness it all firsthand. Gary enjoyed sports especially football (Packers) and baseball (Brewers). If neither of these teams were playing he tuned to watch other teams play because he loved the game. Gary traveled to Milwaukee to see the Brewers play and Green Bay to watch the Packers multiple times. He liked to travel and experienced Dollywood, Branson at Christmas, Chicago and a Balloon Festival, Spring training in Arizona, Door County and Lake Michigan to name a few.

Gary will be remembered for his kindnesses toward others. He was always grateful for any help/assistance given to him and he made sure everyone knew how grateful he was. His favorite color was blue and this was so evident that we couldn't help but tease him a little about this. Gary will be missed for his unique sense of humor and easy-going personality.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 10AM at Leikness Funeral Home with burial to follow at Wautoma Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 prior to funeral services starting at 9AM.
