Frances Wedde

Frances Jazdzewski Wedde age 91, of Wautoma passed away on Monday, February 13th 2017. Frances was born on July 1, 1925 to Frank and Tillie Jazdzewski in the town of Belmont (Heffron), Portage County. She spent her childhood on the family farm in Heffron. In 1945, she married Don Losey, and together they ran a farm on County O in the town of Oasis, and raised two children, Kenneth and Betty Ann. Her two children were the love of her life. Frances worked as a CNA for many years at the former St. Jude Nursing Home in Wautoma, and then at the Wautoma High School in the lunch program. In 1988, she married Vernon Wedde, and they resided in Wautoma until his death in 2002. Then she resided with her son, Ken and daughter-in-law Clara Losey.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Betty (John) Bahringer, Sobieski, WI. A daughter-in-law, Clara Losey, Wautoma, four granddaughters, Jeanette (Ken) Williamson, New Lisbon, Jacqueline (Brian) VanDrisse, Shawano, Jolene (Mike) Saunders, Necedah, Kim (Steve) Schumacher, Pennsylvania, and a grandson Cory Dutcher, Appleton, a very special family friend, Kathy (Joe) Meyer, Almond, six great grandchildren, a sister, Mary Raatz, Almond, and numerous nieces & nephews.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Tillie Jazdzewski, her son Kenneth Losey, husband, Vernon Wedde, and other brothers and sisters.

Family and friends may visit at St Joseph's Catholic Church on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery, town of Belmont (Heffron), Portage County.

The family would like to thank the staff at Heartland Assisted Living in Wautoma for the excellent care and friendship given to Frances.
