Evelyn Hopp

Evelyn R. Hopp, age 90 of Neshkoro, died on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Silver Lake Manor, Wautoma surrounded by her family. She was born on June 23, 1925 in Waushara County to Howard and Alvina (Briggs) Nourse. On August 3, 1940 Evelyn married Andrew E, Hopp at St. Michael Catholic Church, Berlin. Evelyn was a stay at home mother, raising 10 children. She enjoyed cooking, canning gardening playing cards. She was a very active member of St James Catholic Church and Neshkoro Senior Citizens Group. Evelyn very much enjoyed lending a helping hand and taking care of anyone who needed help.

Evelyn is survived by her children: James (Theresa) Hopp, Thomas (Shirley) Hopp, Elaine (Bernard) Thompson, Sherry (Gary) Krueger, Dolores (Lyndon) Luker, Patricia Cook, Karen (Dean) Petraszak; 31 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; 3 more grandchildren expected to arrive before years end; daughter-in-law: Nina Hopp; sister: Alvina Cutts; brother: Donald (Mary) Wesner; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Andrew E. Hopp; sons: Eugene (Beverly) Hopp, Donald Hopp, Andrew D. Hopp; five grandchildren; son-in-law: Robert Cook; five sisters and six brothers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church, Neshkoro. Officiating at the Mass will be Rev. Dale Grubba with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Tuesday from 9:30AM until the time of Mass at 11AM.
