Elaine Alice Shruck

Elaine Alice Shruck age 83 of Wautoma passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Thedacare Hospital, Wild Rose. She was born on February 20, 1943 in Wautoma to Martin and Marian (Bray) Wedell. On September 22, 1962 she married Gordon Shruck at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wautoma. Elaine loved her pets, enjoyed doing ceramics and spending time outdoors gardening, hunting snowmobiling and ice fishing. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Elaine is survived by her husband: Gordon Shruck; daughter: Tammy Simons; grandchildren: Josh (Amber) Simons, Cody (Katherine) Simons; great grandchildren: Judah, Haylee, Claire, Iker; sister: Betty Bahn; sister-in-law: Elaine Wedell; brothers-in-law: Allen (Barb) Shruck, Lester (Judeen) Shruck; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father: William Gomoll; brother: John Wedell and brother-in-law: Donald Bahn.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Auroraville with burial in Marion Cemetery, Wautoma. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 9AM until the time of service at 10:30AM.
