Elaine Lois Arthur, age 82 of Mt. Morris, died Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the Wild Rose Manor. She was born on April 6, 1934 in Oshkosh to Arnold and Lorena (Schroeder) Schoenike. On November 12, 1951 she married Frederick M. Arthur in South Milwaukee. Elaine worked as a cook for many years at Nordic Mountain Ski Hill in Mt. Morris. She enjoyed knitting and Crocheting.
Elaine is survived by her husband: Frederick "Fritz" Arthur; son: Gary Lee (Donna) Arthur; daughters: Sharon Arthur and Susan (David) Zienkiewiz; grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 12-3PM on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Trading Post, Mt. Morris in the lower level.
