E. Olson

E. Mae Olson 96, Wautoma, beloved wife and mother, passed away Sunday morning, November 20, 2016 at the Berlin Hospital following a long illness.

She was born October 7, 1920 on a farm outside of Mindoro, WI, the daughter of Lawrence and Erma Saxton. On June 29, 1938 she married J. Stanley Olson and with him shared over 70 years of loving marriage.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Olson, Wautoma and Joan (Clark) Kihn, Lander, WY, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, five great- great grandchildren and numerous "adopted" children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, one brother, and many dear friends.

Mae's greatest loves were her husband, her family, and her home. She loved spending time with her family and friends, working in her flowers, and caring for her Arabian horses.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 29th at 1:00 p.m. in the Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma with the Rev. Bob Hanson officiating. Burial will follow in the Wautoma Union Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Monday, November 28th at the funeral home and from noon on Tuesday until the time of services.
