Dolorys "Sandy" Sanderson

Dolorys Ann “Sandy” Sanderson, age 91, of Wautoma, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, March 9, 2026 at her home.

She was born May 26, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Melvin and Vernice (Dietzen) Karschnick.

Dolorys resided in Chicago for many years where she was employed as a steel cutter at J&S Tin Mill in Franklin Park, Illinois. In 1994, she moved to Wautoma where she was very active in the community. She was a member and past president of Waushara/Wautoma Senior Citizens and Wautoma Lioness Club.

She is survived by five children: Janette (Edward) Ryan, Wautoma, Lucille Riemma, Neshkoro, Dino (Tina) Valenti, Dana (James) LeTual, Wautoma and Garrett (Erin) Robinson, Fox Lake; four grandchildren: Jason Augustine, Daniel (Trista) Valenti, Katie Robinson and Alyssa Robinson; two great grandchildren, Sam Augustine and Gianna Sophia Valenti; two sisters: Sheron Vassar, Bensenville, IL, Ellen (Dan) Korbas, Williams Bay. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
