Dennis Frater

Dennis Dean Frater, 59, Wautoma, died suddenly on Monday, Oct. 10, 2016. He was born Aug. 1, 1957, the son of the late Edgar N. Frater and Emma (Bliske) Frater, Wautoma.

Dennis was well known and liked by many. He belonged to Hope Lutheran Church, Wautoma.
He worked for Copps IGA for 35+ years and for the last 4 happy years for the Wisconsin Operating Engineers Local 139, Coloma. Dennis was in many stock car races in his early years and won many trophies, which he was so proud of, as was his family. He loved NASCAR, the Packers, buying antique farm machinery, going to auctions and going to Billy B's, where he was like family.

He was a loving brother to Arlene Dahlen and Norman Frater, both of Wautoma; and a loving uncle to: the late Kevyn Carpenter, the late Caryn Slovinski, Ryan Carpenter, Justin Carpenter, Nick Slovinski, Christopher Frater and Patty Dahlen.

A visitation service will be held 3-5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14 at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma. A lunch and memory time will be put on by many friends at 5 p.m. at Billy B's, Wautoma.
