C.W. Riley

C.W. Riley(Bill) died on December 15, 2017.  His survivors include his wife Virginia (Ginger) of Wautoma, Wisconsin; three children, Erin (Tom) Cara of Niles, Illinois; Kaycee Marks (Chuck Sulzer) of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin; Michael (Ginger) Riley of McGehee, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Legion Marks (Charo Mc Ghee), Ashlea (Rob) Klootwyk, Carly Cara, Sean Cara; and two great-grandchildren, Simon Klootwyk, Sawyer Klootwyk.  Other survivors include a sister-in-law, Sue Riley of Miami Shores, Florida; brother-in-law, Keith (Pat) Hamilton of Tucson, Arizona.  Bill was preceded in death by his brother, John,  and sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Don Theimann.

After serving in the Air Force, Bill completed college.  His career in education spanned 36 years as a teacher, coach, and administrator.  Bill served in school districts in Stratford, Mineral Point, Ashwaubenon, and Wautoma.  The greatest reward of Bill’s career was the lifelong friendships he made in the Almond School District where he started his teaching career.

In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
