Crescentia Reilly

February 16, 1919 — September 8, 2014

Crescentia "Cres" Reilly was born in Neshkoro, Wisconsin on February 16, 1919 to Adam and Constance (Sharapata) Swader. She married Donald Reilly in Milwaukee on February 10, 1936. She worked alongside her husband in the family owned business, Don Reilly and Sons Shell Service in Wautoma for 39 years until Donald suffered a stroke and had to retire. Cres cared for her husband tirelessly until his death in 2003. On Monday, September 8th she was reunited with him in Heaven. Cres passed away at Silver Lake Manor, her home for the past three years, where she was carefully watched over by the loving staff. Cres was a faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Good Morning Circle. She was a member of Waushara County Homemakers and the Learn and Do Homemakers. She was a member of the Waushara County Historical Society. She loved people and loved children, often giving the children's sermon at church services. Cres is survived by one daughter, Sandra Schmoldt, Wausau; and three sons, Victor (Lorraine) Reilly, Douglas Reilly, and Clark (Mary) Reilly, all of Wautoma; 13 grandchildren, Tereesa (Daniel) Daul, De Pere, Susan (Dean) Marquardt, Robert (Tracy) Schmoldt, and Thomas Schmoldt, all of Wausau, Lori Ann (Linden) Neitzel, Neshkoro, Dean (Jody) Reilly, Medford, Fay (Chuck) Niemann, Anchorage, AK, David (Cindy) Reilly, Wautoma, June (David) Sheneman, Montgomery, IL, Steven (Rhonda) Reilly, Appleton, Patrick (Amy) Reilly, Chad Reilly, and Clay Reilly, all of Wautoma; 17 great grandchildren, Josh and Larissa Daul, Hannah and MacKenzie Marquardt, Sterling Reilly, Walker Ewan, Hailey Reilly, Nicole Niemann, Rachel, Caleb (Kristina) Reilly, Lydia and Micah Sheneman, Josh, Emilie, Kirk, Jordan, and Trey Reilly; one great-great granddaughter, Cadence Reilly; many loving nieces, nephews, and special friends Kenneth and Marilyn Brandt. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Gordena Marmol; four brothers, Aloise (Everetta), Peter, Bernard, and Benedict (Florence) Swader; three half sisters, Martha (Frank) Zodrow, Regina (Johnny) Marmol, and Clara Kreske; one half brother, Robert Kreske; and by her daughter in law, Eleanor Reilly. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, N2133 Southgate Terrace, Wautoma with Rev. Domnik Israel, Rev. Fay (Reilly) Niemann and David Reilly officiating. Burial will be in Wautoma Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. A memorial is being established for Grace United Methodist Church.
